for the clueless, "pinoy ka, bai?" roughly translates to "dude/friend, are you filipino?"
This is a bigger version of an avatar my friend wanted me to make. She basically wanted a guy with a shirt saying, "pinoy ka ba?", which later became, "pinoy ka?", then "pinoy ka, bai?"(to make it more bisaya-sounding). It would've escalated to "pinoy ka, doh?" or "day?" or something if I didn't tell her I finalized it.  I didn't have a stock photo of a dude with his fist in the air, so I just used a pic with my friend holding on to the back of a jeepney. Yeah, it's a chick. Let's pretend I didn't try to turn her into a man. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
